I currently use a Treo 650 from Verizon as my PDA and ekey. I am modestly happy with this; I love the solution, but the phone is really quirky. My husband (not a Realtor) uses a Verizon 700 and says that it is very quirky, too (but with a Windows operating system). I am not inclinded to exchange one issue for another (I subscribe to the 'devil you know' philosophy), but I feel like there might be better options. I just don't want to spend $300 to find out I was better off before.
Does anyone have any experience with the Verizon Verizon Wireless XV6700? Things I am looking for in a new smart phone:
- Does not constantly (sproadically) lock up
- Does not cause me to miss calls while it runs through a Sync process
- Would love immediate emails, versus waiting for a Sync to occur
Please let me know if you have any input or opinions about either phone. I was an early adopter of the Palm Pilot concept, so I am very comfortable with Palm operating system.

If your Treo 650 is doing all that, it has to be a lemon. I had one and it worked great until the speaker went out and I am now on a Treo 680 which I like less. I miss the antennna which I grabbed to answer the phone.
I do not use mine for email and sync it each morning for edata. I prefer doing that because each morning because all new numbers are put into the computer when I sync.
I have a blackberry. I get automatic emails. I also have verizon. Originally I was going to get a treo, (abut 3 years ago) but the person who has been upgrading my phones recommended against it with Verizon (at that time). I think those issues have be resolved.
