Ice skating shop at Reston Town Center, REston, VAEach Saturday Morning the Reston Town Center hosts a Cartoon Skate.  Most parents are on the look out for fun activities that combine exercise and entertainment. What could be better than getting your kids out on the ice with Scooby Doo©, Tweety Bird©, The Cat and the Hat© and other entertaining Cartoon Characters?

The fun begins at 11:00 a.m. and continues until 1:00 p.m.  Arrive a couple
Ice skating pavilion at Restn Town Center, Reston, VA of minutes early to get your child (and yourself) fitted with ice skates and be ready to head out on the ice when the clock strikes 11.

The Ice Skating Pavilion at Reston Town Center is one of the most popular winter destinations in Reston. Located between the Hyatt Hotel  and Clyde's, at 1818 Discovery Street, the Pavilion is open from late October to the second week in March. Admission costs are:

Adults - $9.00
Children under 12 - $7.00
Senior citizens (55 & up) - $7.00
Skate rentals (figure & hockey) - $4.00
Season pass – individual - $175.00
Season pass – family of 4 - $375.00
Discount card (10 admissions) - $65.00

I didn't even know there was an ice-skating rink in Reston.  I'll bet there's a lot I could learn about the area.  My daughter loves it there and will probably end up there someday.
