This is the weekend of the Herndon Festival in Herndon, Virginia. Despite some weather challenges on Thursday and Friday, beautiful weather is expected for the rest of the weekend. Get out and enjoy the music, entertainment, rides, food and more!

I just got back from going to the festival with my husband, son and a friend of his. We parked at Herndon High School and took the shuttle. It drops you off right at the entrance. There is also a shuttle that runs to and from Worldgate.
Just make sure you pay attention to which one you get on to return to your car--there were at least 3 people on our shuttle that took the wrong one.
Rides were fun, lots of crafts and gifts, a food area and 3 concert stages.
Tonight at dark are the fireworks.
