I am interested to hear how everyone feels about the so-called "Spring Market." I have been so busy I can barely keep up. Interestingly, however, I am seeing this activity in pockets. I have several listings which have virtually no traffic (even at very competitive prices) and others that have almost immediately gone under contract. I put in the same amount of pre-market preparation time (as do the sellers), and yet, nothing! It seems like some areas are regaining the momentum and others are not.
Buyers are still overwhelmed by choices and,to some degree, seem reluctant to make a commitment (in the form of a contract). The buyers I have worked with who have written contracts have been able to get very good deals and are very pleased with the market. I wish more buyers would recognize the opportunities available to get serious about their home purchases.
Are you seeing the same sort of patterns around the country? I am just curious about other areas.
